Ididit with C4 and headers. Have you done it?

I am building a 67 and put a C4 in it. I added an Ididit direct fit column and the shifter arm is at the end of the column tube about 6 inched further away from the firewall. It also has the headers right below and looks to be a real problem to get any linkage to work with this. I looked online and saw a cable shift option but that too looks like a challenge with the headers.

Has anyone done this conversion and if so do you have any tips or pictures of what you did?
