i searched a little on it but nothing im really after.

i found one for the wiring but the diagram don't match my light switch. (its missing the black/yellow=to front parking lights, the rest is a match.

what i need is the color of the wire and what that wire is.

my ignition switch
male term,
yellow,
red/green (something with ignition)
green/red & a brown wire that says resistor wire on it.

I'm installing my new wiring harness and need to know what wire to hook where.

Does this diagram help? I'm not sure what your asking in the second part of your post.

No purple-black wire on a EB. There is the brake warning light test circuit with a pink or purple-white wire. That terminal grounds when the key is in START to test the bulb.

Have you ever seen an eB with Pk/Wh? I'm pretty sure they're all Pu/Wh. I think Seabiscuit misread "P/W" on the original diagrams & started the Pink myth. ;)

No, I think that was me.:-[

I dug through the diagrams. The early years had it labelled as V for violet. The late years it was labelled P-W for purple-white. I think I miss-read P-W as pink-white when I posted in '09.

Any one know where I can get an OEM plug for the ignition switch on my 69? Mine is retrofitted with a late-model switch that doesn't fit the dash, and I'm thinking of going back to the OEM switch. Can anyone think of a good reason not to switch back?

Try napa. But I would post your question in a new thread.
More people will see your questions and be able to help ya out.

I don't like the plugs and just use female ends
