In your opinion, who makes the best twin-stick?

Just looking into them and I've heard some things good and some bad about different vendors twin stick shifters. One guy on ebay claims the one he got was so bad, he made up his own. Alot of vendors sell them, I just wanted to get opinions good and bad before I bought one.

Which one is best and why?

Thanks,
-Rajah

I like Toms SS twin stick. Its very solid, tight shifts with no rattles + it looks good
;D

I have toms also and is a great product. But really I think they all are pretty much the same.
Good luck with your choice

i've installed duff's in mine, and tom's in others. both are nice. i'm going to have to switch to tom's if i go to automatic because i want to put a lokar floor shifter to the right of my twin sticks. tom's lean toward the driver, duff's lean to the right.

Just to toss a wrench into this at SOB BroncoNate had the one he bought from Tom's (Actually made by JB Fab) break on him. I had to climb underneath and manually shift it into gear for him. Later in the day JB Fab. welded it back up for him.

I picked up a Tom's shifter, other then having to bend it to the right to keep it from hitting my right leg, it's pretty good. Why dont they make one that is straight up!!
Dont buy the W/Horses shifter! One little bolt that hold's the two shifters will shear off!

Is this from personal experience or ? I have been running the WH twin stick for 4 years now, and close to 35,000 miles, and have never had a problem with mine. Works great and has yet to come loose or rattle as some others have posted. %)

I don't recall what broke. JB Fab happened to be out there though and had a welder with him so he fixed it. Actually they both were on the trail run as well in my group so they were not complete strangers.

I just installed JB Fabs, its OK but it could be made for about $35 and an afternoon!!, I think my dog could make nicer welds than the ones on my shifters.

I like the duffs because at the time I didn't think I could make a nice looking cover for the hole and it came with one. If I had to do it again, I think I still would but not because of the cover. I like the chrome and the bends. I also like the wood knobs.
