Thats what I was wondering... if they were legal, I'd pull the trigger.

These have a sticker on the back that says off road use only. They do not say DOT anywhere on them.

If your wiring is good shape there would be no need for anything special for a 55Watt headlight. I have been running Hellas for years with stock wiring with no issues at all and the voltage at the light is the same as it is at the battery with the lights on High beam. My wires when examined look good with no deterioration. Spend your $ on something that has better value.
