Has anyone put the sniper efi autolite 1100 on there six cylinder bronco? I'm having a hard time with throttle linkage, trying to pull it towards the drivers side rather then push it up from the passengers side like old mustangs do. If anyone has done this can you show me what you did thanks.

Hey send me a private message. My mechanic made my throttle linkage. I’m having a problem with heat soak on mine.

Was trying to find info on the same. Would appreciate any. The video looks great is this a one of Akins?

My 66 I got a lokar cable and add on kit, the cable works with the gas pedal, and the right brackets let me run my cable where ever I needed to operate the carb. My 66 doesn't use the firewall bracket, straight cable from pedal to carb.

Im gonna resurrect and old one here. I measured my 66 throttle cable needs and I came in under 24 inches. You mentioned an add-on kit. Do you have any pics or any additional insight since this install you'd be willing to share? Thx

I can't post pics I don't think.

I used this cable, its on a weber carb on a crossflow six 250 from Australia, I needed it longer:

And I needed these ends to work with the weber. I think lokar has various different "adapaters" available.

Thank you. On my setup, it looks like I need a ball and socket on both ends yo make it work and it appears the lokar cable comes with a ball and socket on the throttle body side and a different clip mechanism for the gas pedal. On my truck there's a ball on the top of the pedal so you may be right. It appears modifying that end may be the pain in the balls.

The pedal end is a yoke, the throttle cable has a ball swedged on the end. You have to take the cable off 1 direction only because of that swedged socket, but I bet there is a way to either replace the yoke with something that fits your pedal. Taking the yoke off is easy, I judt don't know what they offer to fit what you need. I googled for it but didn't see it. I'd email lokar with a picture of what you want to do. They make a great product, I don't know what other options are out there.

That piece is a simple lathe project, I've made them in the past if you can't find one to buy. Can be as simple as buying something like this: https://www.mcmaster.com/6412K9/ (Should be able to find something like it at your local hardware store). Chuck it in a drill press and use a file to round-off one end. It is made to couple two shafts, for pinching it on a cable only one set-screw is needed.

I imagine they have something. I've seen an add on lot mentioned and I know I can make something once I have it all here. Thx for looking.
