Yo Guys
Well I finally installed the Wild Horses One Inch Body Lift todat, along with the extended clutch rod. So now I can do the NV3550 this comming week.

Everything went really well, except for the one bushing behind the Passenger seat. There is a hole in the frame, just big enough to let the metal sleave fall into the frame. Lucky for me my friend, had a sleve that happened to be very close to the same size. So a word of caution if you are doing a body lift, make sure you tape over the two holes on the frame, righ behind the front seats.

Just about all the old rubber bushings came out very easy, we only had to use a sawsall on two of the old bushings. My Heep buddies were impressed how easy the body lifts are to install on a Bronco.

Here are two pictures of how it sits with the new body lift. The picture with the Black grill is before the body lift. The two with the silver grill, and the hood scoop is from today

Looks good. I remember seeing your rig at Carlisle during the 40th. Did you wheel with that setup - the 3-1/2 cage + 35s? I've heard from a few people on here with the 3-1/2 susp + 1" BL combo and running 35s that run into "self-clearancing" issues with the rear flares. I'd like to run this setup myself - minus the problems.

I can still get my 35" to hit in some circumstances with a 3.5" suspension and a 2" body lift.

I haven't wheeled it very hard with the 35's yet. I still need to replace my 4 point cage, with the 6 point cage I have waiting to be installed, and I still have 28 spline axle shafts. Though I did wheel it a few times this summer, and the only problem I had was, once in a while I would catch the bottom for the front wheel opening with the front tires. This only happened once in a while, and when the wheel was turned. I have never had any problems with the rear flares.

I may still have to trim my front fenders right behind the grill, but maybee the body lift will help keep the trimming to a minimum.

Looks great. No offense but, I liked your grill better black. It looks great either way though. Where did you get your light bar?

Thanks. It seems like a pretty good combo to me. It just looks like a little more trimming and the flares may need to be stretched a little extra which is fine. I didn't want to install them up to the body line though just to run 35's.

Pictures don't lie right? Nice shots there. Are they from the fall cruise that I missed a few weeks ago?

Your comments got me thinking. When I installed the 35's I noticed the front of the rear tires wer a little close to the flares. So when I put the new flexible flares on I streached the front of the rear flares as much as I could and still be able to open the fuel door. The drives flare actually covers the back corner of the fule door a little, I can still open it, but have to pull it foward as I open it.

If you measure the bottom edge of the rear flare mine are 2.5 inches from the seam in the rocker panel. Maybee thats why my don't have a rubbing problem.

So I think it is more important to streach the front of the rear flares, more than having to get them up as high as possible.
