In full disclosure, I stole this picture from another post. It is a beautiful engine compartment, I hope mine ends up even half as nice!
I have two questions:
1. Is the circled sensor the ACT sensor?
2. Where can I source the metal piece with the 45 degree bend connecting the throttle body to the MAF?

Yes it is the ACT and Summit Racing

AEM 3.5" dia. 45* air inlet tube, (2) 3.5" to 3.25" coupler/reducers
The coupler sizes are dependant on your TB size, as I started with an aftermarket 70mm TB that had too stong of a return spring and it whistled...
I returned to the 65mm Explorer TB and did the swing arm swap from a Mustang TB.
I had to change coupler size down as the 65mm TB has a smaller inlet. The pipe has been cut down from it original length. Summit doesn't stock this item, it is shipped from the Manufacturer in SoCal I believe.

The ACT in the picture, is an explorer part. The grommet is a Dorman/Help line product I matched up. The thickness of the 45* elbow is too thin for the grommet, so I added material.

More than you wanted to know... Doug

Great info thanks! this kind of setup solved several problems for me as my lower manifold has no location for an ACT sensor and I don't think drilling it is a good idea.
I will begin to source parts immediately.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the plastic box on the rear of the passenger side inside fender?

I ran mine with a autozone 45 degree bend and drilled a hole for the act and put a rubber grommet around it to hold it in

I did one once, zip tied about 3" away from the air filter. Seen OEM cars (not ford) that had the ACT in the dirty side of the air box.

The fuse and relay box Garry uses for his harness rewires... Electrical connectors are common and readly available vs. the ones in the Ford relay boxes.

I got my sweep from the guy what made my exhaust. Went back a few times for tweeks and flaring. I found a grommet in the small parts box section at local hardware store

In second pic you can see gap at silicone coupler. This was before final tweek to flare it out to a good fit.

I think he charged me $20 for the part including several visits. I told him up front that I dint know exact dimensions and would be back
