Is it possible to replace the window track felt?

I finished disassembling my door to finish up sanding them for paint. I pulled the runs out to get at the door latch and I see the felt is quite worn or missing in some places. I don't see a need to replace the entire run. Is is possible to replace just the felt in these run? If so where would be the best place to purchase some?

They come in two pieces. The door/top frame and vent window side. all of the vendors carry the felts.

I have the upper door felts and the vent window felts but what I need is the felt that is glued into the metal tracks down inside the door. I checked at JBG and did not see them listed. I see Wild horses lists a complete kit but I don't need the whole kit. Just looking for the track felt.

Many years ago I went through this same thing. Why pay for the "kit" when all you need is the felt. I had a very very limited budget for the Bronco at that time.

I did some research and found what I thought I needed at JC W. Ordered it and it wasn't a perfect fit. I had to modify the tracks and it still didn't fit right.

It's been that way for 16 years and it's still holding up but the windows get hard to roll up and down in the summer so I adjust the track and I have to add some corn starch to them and have even used wd-40 in a pinch. I guess what I'm saying is they've never been right and can be a pain in the butt from time to time.

I'm stuck with what I have and dealing with it is my way of reminding myself that sometimes you just need to buy the right/correct parts and do it right.

have you checked at the ford dealer yet? sounds weird but ford stocks quite a bit of parts for these old broncos. Just a thought.
