but I think it's time to upgrade to a rigid intermediate band in the C4. The good news is the pan was nice and clean inside.

I was getting on it pretty good from a light when it just reved as it should have shifted. I got off the gas and it went to 3rd. I pulled over, checked the gears and had all of them except for 2nd. I knew then what happened. I shifted back to 1st and then the band strut got stuck in the internal linkage. At least it happened in a gear that I could drive it back home in.

I don't need to rebuild it. It only has about 5K on it. Just going to inspect it, put a new band in and maybe swap out some governor springs while it's out.

too bad you just cant slip a new band around it and tighten it up. I love easy fixes.
