If anyone doesn't look at So cal broncos or Early broncos sites, and you want to wheel your bronco in the beautiful calif desert weather, heres an opportunity. I know the area and the trails are from mild to wild, scenic, and plenty of great folks with Broncos to check out. Put on by SoCalBroncos, billed as the !st Annual Calico SCB Run.

Wish I was out on the left coast. I would definitely hit you up.
Here in Central Florida we have no "real" ghost towns, except for an old plantation site but you don't need 4x4 to get there. There is a mythic ghost town in the Ocala National Forest area. I say mythical because my buddy's and I can't find it.
Apparently an old 'shine town. Where moonshine was distilled for many years during prohibition.

Technically it's our second annual Calico run. First Socal Bronco event for 2014. I'll be out there Fri. morning. Last year we had 25+ Broncos. I'm expecting a few more this year.

I'll be there Friday evening in time for dinner n whiskey under the stars. Bringing my blue bronco, three friends (Jann's tan Blazer, Curt's red Suburban). Save us a spot if you can! Can't wait! First of many epic camping trips in 2014!

The weather looks good... sunny, 35 at night, 65 in the day, light breeze.

I'll post some video, just got a gopro.

Technically its probably about the 8th annual. We haven't gone every year, but sometimes we've made several trips there in a single year. My guess is there have been about a dozen So Cal Broncos trips to Calico over the years.

I've been on the fence about this one due to its being so close to KOH on the calendar, and being so busy with prep for KOH at work. But its starting to shape up like I'm going to make it. Probably pull in Friday night, just in time for some barleypops by the fire :D

I've gone back and watched that video 2 or 3 times. It is just "that good".

Dude you should do this for a living. Great music choice. Love The Whiskey Thieves. I like the way you sped it up a bit. I love rock crawling but it does get a little slow at times. The speed you played it at was perfect to keep me interested. Kudos my eb brother.
