Dont you already have one that you built up?? That one looks far too nice to become a "trail" rig and to be cut. With all of the cut ones out there, I wouldnt even consider buying an uncut, just to turn it into a "trail" rig. I think its sad. You should trade it or turn it over. Just my opinion. For a strictly trail vehicle, use something thats already got some rust, some exterior character or straight up rash, dont use something clean and original. Its just stupid IMO. If you want to build something , make it nice, then thrash it AWESOME, COOL...but doing that with an original that clean is kind of irresponsible. JMO, sorry, unruffle your feathers.

I was actually talking to Louie this morning on this very thing. ;) We'll see what we can work out. Save the uncuts!

Never say never! I'm open to a trade. I'll hold off on the cut for a little while but the jigsaw is staring at me ;)

No problem...feathers are fine. I thought I might get flamed with the grandpa-mobile comment. No offense to the uncut crowd...I just like them better cut.

The maroon 77 I have for sale over in classifieds is MUCH nicer than this green one. It's like a piece of jewelry. That's why I'm selling the 77 and bought this one for street and trail use. Sure it's nice but it's not that nice.

I wasn't able to get any more pics tonight before it got dark so I'll try to show the rest of it tomorrow.

Man OH Man dont cut that. It is way too nice for that. I know it is yours and you can do with it what you wish but that is sure a nice uncut. Im with the other guys on this one. If it was mine i would save it and buy another one that is already butchered. Okay enough of the begging. Congrats on a nice find. I hope you enjoy it no matter what you do with it. I guess that is the main thing.

Nice looking rig. I say cut it if ya want I don't really like the look of the uncuts either. But maybe ya can do a trade and make everybody happy.

I quess if you cut it, it only raises the value of mine. I'm in my late 30's and my EB is uncut, and I love that grand-pa look. I think it is one of the most indentifiable characteristics of the early broncos. To each his own my friend, but that swap might be the way to go. Good luck and have fun.

Cut it, they look silly stock, at least my 66 Thunderbird has REMOVABLE fender skirts, and the 4WD f-150s came with 63 bed so they didnt have the skirt over the tire.
In fact the parts you cut off are exactly the same shape and size as a fender skirt for a 64-66 bird.

I could be wrong but I really think the cut EBs are selling for more than the uncuts. That may change over time. But I think that means that more people like the cuts more than the uncuts. For sure that's not why I will probably cut it. This one just worked out that way. You know...the right place at the right time at the right price thing.

I am working on a couple possible swaps but who knows.

I took a couple pics of the interior and engine. Also did a test fit of the 33" MTRs on the 15x8 M/T Classics all bought on ebay for a good deal  Fits perfect!

what a deal! thought id done well with getting mine for 4,000, and i guess i did, but its not as nice and wasnt as well kept as yours appears to be.

and i was wondering how long it would be before i saw a cut vs. uncut debate here :)

mine is uncut.. i would like to hereby refer to hat look as the "swanky-grandpa" look. we cant be referred to as grandpa just yet.. im in my early 30's.

so swanky-grandpa it is then, yeah? :p

I've got to weigh in too.....Don't cut! Don't trail it...It's too nice. Sell it...Make $1,500-2,000. And go and buy a sound trail rig. complete with body damage. "It you trail it, da dents will come".

Now that said...If you still decide to cut it, I want your trimmings!

I once owned a stock, uncut, '75. less then a week after I cut it, I saw one of the first lifted "stockers" to be featured in a magazine. Made me SICK, but couldn't go back.

I now own three...and my daughter has 2 more. Only one is uncut, and it's by far my favorite! And yes....I'm a grandpa! I own a trail rig with over $20,000 invested, and that old '75, that is now a street/show half cab and worth twice as much as the stocker....but the stocker is by far my favorite, and when we go to shows....The stocker get's the attention.

You can have the trimmings if I go through with it which looks pretty likely. It's expensive and time consuming even do a swap...let alone sell it. And then spend lots of time (months) and money trying to find another one. You all know how that goes!! BTW... I have friends my age who are grandpas :-X
