I’m hoping to get some help, as I have 0 idea what I’m doing with electrical. I have the centech harness, and upgraded heavy duty headlight wiring. I have knock off jw speaker headlights that work great.

Today I tried to install led blinkers, tail lights and reverse lights. I purchased them from amazon. The front signals worked great, I put the tail lights in, and the. The front signals blinked very slowly after, and the tail light stayed solid. I pulled them out and out the original bulbs in and everything is fine.

Do I need a different type of relay? Some sort of resistor? I also bought the wrong type of bulb for the reverse lights, anyone know what type of bulb to get? I am trying to do this as cost effective as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

you can get a relay that is set up for the lower LED current draw. you need two, one for turn, and the other for hazard. you can add load resistor as well, but the relay is plug and play. like this;

https://www.amazon.com/CEC-Industri...t=&hvlocphy=9002320&hvtargid=pla-524659424129

you can use the 1156 bulb for back up. its a single filament design.

be aware that some of the marker type led bulbs are polarity sensitive. if they dont work, try rotating 180 degrees
