Here's my '76 and my '01 Fatboy

Complimentary color schemes.

Going to turn 50 years old this summer, and I'm celebrating that milestone by riding my bike from Tampa to San Diego and back. Taking off the entire month of July and will be taking all highways.....not one single interstate.

Nice rigs..

I think when I step up bikes, I may look at the road glides. sooo many people have the street glides ya know. Probably the same way w/the road glides though

Thanks. Yeah once you have one you notice more of them but I like it way better than my old Street Glide. If you decide to buy a bike drive them both and choose. They stopped making them for 2014 but the new design will be out for 15'.

I also have a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, but this one that showed up today makes a better pair since it has some FoMoCo and Bronco tie in to it...

Glad to see this thread is still going strong! ;D

Here is a new to me 69 half cab and my kid's old Honda Z50R.

We got this sometime in the '80's for our 3 kids to learn to ride. It hasn't run in 15+ years but we still hauled it to Virginia in 2000 and then back to Texas last year!

I'm taking it to the local Honda dealer tomorrow to get it going again. It needs a new carb and maybe some other stuff. I could do it myself but I'm too busy working on Broncos! Then we'll take it to Colorado for and teach our grandson to ride it! (I may use it as a pit bike some too!!!)

That's a sweet ride there Scoop & the half cab is pretty good too! Looks like you're about ready to add on to that new garage?

amen to that, I never test drive a new truck when I get one, but I will Definitely Test Drive a Bike to see what fits me better.. A little tall, so it's gotta be a semi big bike

The bike is a 1984 Yamaha RX-50. Supposedly they were given to dealerships as salesman samples for the bigger bikes. Grandpa had it stored away in the barn and gave it to me(as well as the bronco) last year. It sat for at least 8 years up until a month ago. I added some gas on top of the gas that was still in it and it fired up after 5 kicks. I was amazed to say the least.

The bronco is a '66 U13 that was torn apart 8 years ago and has sat ever since. It'll be out and worked on soon though.

Very cool Gary! (the new U14 and getting the old 50 ready for the next generation!)
