Let's see those 76-77 Special Decor Broncos

As the new owner of a 76 Special Decor package Bronco I got to wondering what combinations these were offered in.
Mine is supposed to be dark jade metalic but now it has more "patina" than paint.
Mine came fully equiped with 302, Auto, PS, PDB. It has the unique white stipe, black grill with black headlight rings, color matching body and top, bright window trim, marker light trim and driver and passenger mirrors.

Raven Black '77, Came with an Automatic. Haven't explored it's history yet, but I do know it spent some time in Louisiana.

I'm planning on getting it running and driving and just using it as a cruiser. Maybe one day it will be restored.

It was repainted once and the stripe job is a little sloppy, plus they added the stripe along the bottom

It is ready for another paint job and I am gonna use "Metallic Denim" from my 2013 F250, which is surprisingly close to the current blue

Was the vertical rear side marker a '77 only thing? Don't think I've ever noticed that before. Looks pretty slick.

They moved them cause that gas hole filler neck was flapped;D

The red one is a Sport and the light jade is not.....

It factory original paint, called Cayan Red. Looks orange to me.%);D

It's interesting that ford mans red 77 has a white stripe and fordfans red 77 stripe is black. Does anyone know if the stripe color was an option also?

Yes. Stripe color was optional white or black. Regardless of the stripe color the grill was black though. Package also included window chrome on al windows. U could get the pkg on any bronco but if it had body chrome that would be deleted and if it had ranger or explorer stripes those would also be deleted. i have a 76 red with white top and black stripe and a 77 red with red top and white stripe. both have black grills and window chrome. 76 has chrome bumpers and 77 has white bumpers. so bumper color might have been optional too

It's actually Dad's. We picked it up out of Tennessee back in August. Little rough, but not too far gone.

Here's my 77. Original color but repainted. Car spent it's whole life in North Carolina until I bought it and brought it to Virginia.
