We lifted the rear 2.5, and now the rear hose that comes down from the frame to the center of the axle is stretched out. Anyone knows a part number for a hose that may be about three inches longer that can be purchased in a local store? Thanks in advance.

I'll ask you first....are you talking about break line or the rear axle vent tube?

I know the late 70s truck came in 2 lengths. I put a 4wd on my 2wd truck as it was 2" longer to match the 2" lift. Rockauto publishes lengths sometimes in the detailed specs.

I think I have an extra braided brake hose, if you are interested.

you can use the longer line from the 78-79 ford bronco. you can also space up the Brake line block and metal lines off the axle housing. that's how Rancho did it back in the day with a simple metal strap to space it up.
