We're the original owners of our '77 (37 years). Our three sons learned to drive in it. It has been used for everything. It's got over 280K miles on it now. Can you ever get too old to get under these things to work on them?

I've owned mine over half my life, but that's only 17 years of ownership. A far cry from the longest since some here have had theirs longer than I've been alive

My father bought my 70 new in Feb 1970. My mom drove it around town for 12 years. (the original SUV driving soccer mom!) I turned 16 in 1982 and they let me drive it to school, and I was hooked. They transferred it to me a few years later. Time in college, military and several moves around the States, and I still have it! So that is about 32 yrs for me. My kids are eyeballing it for when they're old enough to drive. :)
