Does anyone know what size the small return fitting is on the astroboost unit?
I need to replace it with a 90 degree version. Could also be a 90 deg to an AN fitting but I do not know what size the threads are on the OEM fitting either.

Links, suggestions are all welcome!

Like Lars, the two of my H-B's that I've plumbed use a straight adapter fitting and a 90° formed hose end for all three hoses.

FWIW the spittor port (the tiny one) on H-B units is -2 ORB (O-Ring Boss) which is a 5/16-24 thread (same as -2AN/JIC). Can also use crush washer(s) if the flat around the port is big enough. The OEM hose barb fitting has a built-in restriction (deliberately small hole) in it. I've never seen a reason for that and some systems seem to work fine without it. Including two of mine, although one might benefit from having a restriction - dunno..... it does an odd thing once in a while.

That is the downside the straight adapters and bent tube hose ends, they claim a lot of space.

As I recall the larger two ports are O-Ring Bump design. Which mans that my fancy hydraulic tube flaring tool should be able to make those flares. So there is the possibility of making metal tube plumbing at the H-B end anyway. Our '96 CTD is like that, short metal tubes that make the connection at the H-B unit itself, and then up about the middle of the length of the MC they transition to hoses.
