Hey, when have you guys ever been to SMORR when the weather has been good? It seems everytime I've gone it's either raining cats and dogs or windy as all get out.

I'm not sure how to react with good weather in the area. LOL;D

Ada, Ok
who all are going to be there on Thursday and what time, don't want to get there too early and be there by myself. Might have to hotwire Jamey's bronco and go for a ride since David's is broke.

I am planning to be there by mid afternoon but depends on the intensity of the storms they are talking about may be passing through here in the morning.....if I get up in the morning and it is just pouring raining and blowing wind, I am probably going to hold off for a few hours. I have about a 6 hour drive and if I stop for lunch make that 7.

I hope to roll out of here by 4:00 as it is looking right now. The truck is loaded and full of fuel. All we have to do is keep the bathroom stops out and we could possible be there as early as 7:00, but plan on 9:00 %)

Wes, the way the trailer is parked you probably wouldn't be able to unload it if it's wet at all. Other than that, Jamey probably wouldn't care if you got it unloaded and cruised around in it. If you want to come up here and pick my gear box up, install it and drive mine you are welcome to it! ;D

We have been known to eat pretty good there ;D

I don't think anyone goes hungry, but everyone has gotten soaked and almost blown away there!

The weather will be what it will be, last time we were there myself, Jamey and Ed slept in the back of our truck campers with heaters. It dipped down into the teen's with a 30 mph wind??? It was COLD!!!!!

I guarantee the weather to be better than that!

Lots of talk about weather, for this event. So.. here's some MORE info to hopefully help everyone out. Takes me about 30 minutes to get to the park, so I follow this pretty close. ;)

Enjoy. See you at the park!!!

Another note of interest.... There are NEW park maps available at the gatehouse, when you check-in at the office. Be sure to pick one up. X-large, and easy to read.
