I'm almost packed and ready.
Bronco is as done as its gonna get.
Doors had to come off, kept locking me out/in, got tired of playing with them.
I removed the tire that keeps leaking down, only broke one bolt off, it still leaks down but I'm zeroing in on the pressure it need not to leak.

well seeing how i did nothing to the bronco last weekend i am now working on it late at night to try and get it ready.
the front bumper is about half done
no drivers side axle
brakes need adjusted
never took the transfer case out to find out why it keeps popping out of low range
not going to worry about the one staun not letting air out of the tire
the gas tank is still hanging
and still no tunes....

looks like i will not be leaving until thursday afternoon at this point.

hopefully i will be able to at least finish the bumper tonight..

Somewhat, yes..but this one now feels loose as heck compared to what it was before the last major driveshaft grenading. We'll see,,,I'm running it like it is. If it's gonna happen..it's gonna happen 'out there' (with apologies to Cap'n Ron;D )

Almost packed and ready as well. Spent this weekend on getting the trail rig ready -

* Resealed the 9 inch which started leaking when I installed my diff protectors
* Changed oil (Mobil1), oil filter, air filter
* Replaced my thermostat
* Topped off all fluids
* Tested my ARB compressor
* Rewound my winch cable

Still need to fix my brake light.

Can't wait to test out my frame repair!! ;D

The "your Bronco and motorcycle" thread reminded me of something -

** If you bring a dirt bike to Gore they will charge you an extra fee for riding your bike on the trails and it will be allowed ONLY ON THE TRAILS. No bike riding in the campground area. No "pit bikes" allowed. **

Well, I'm sorry to say it now looks liek I will not be making it this year. My Mom has been ill and she took a turn for the worst yesterday and it's not looking so good right now at all. I'll know for sure on Thursday but I'm not counting on it at all. I can go to other events later on but it look like Mom will only be with us a little while longer. Todd and family are still planning on going however.

Sorry to hear about your mother not doing so well. There will always be more Bronco events. Hope things work out and you can make it.

Still need to fix my brake light.

That's not essential equipment!

Brake lights! Who needs brake lights!

I have everything staged to load in the truck tomorrow morning, the kids are looking forward to this as am I. Wish I could say the same about the wife.:-X

I hope the truck handles the load of the Bronco, trailer, 3 kids, wife, dog and all the crap.

See you all over the next few days.

I would have made you beg ;D , but like Chris said, no problem to just show up. Just make sure you get your meal tickets when you show up - or bring some food for Fri and Sat nights just in case we do run out!

See you there!

So it will only cost $10 just to show up and visit?

I need to come meet you guys and pick up the parts I bought from Randy and Drew. Will try to come down Sat Morning if I can just show up for a couple hours.

Correct. There are no MEB fees if you just show up and hang out. The Cove charges a $10 fee per day to come in for the Bronco event - their normal day use fee is $12. If you are coming on Sat morning, try to get there before 9 am so that you can join us at the Rock Challenge. That's where everyone will be from about 9 to noon -or else on the trail or on the street cruise. There won't be too many people at the campground area.
