2013 Mid-Atlantic Early Broncos' Snow Run on February 16. It will be held again this year at Rausch Creek Off Road Park, Joliett, PA. Please see the Rausch Creek Website for park information on directions, rates, rules, memberships and waivers. This is a one-day trail ride and is always a fun time! How much fun? Well that depends on how much snow is there!

Dress warm and pack a lunch to eat on the trail. We'll start lining up around 8:00 and plan to hit the trails around 9:00. We'll have at least 2 groups of different experience/difficulty levels. If you are planning on coming send me an E-mail so we can get a rough headcount. This is open to all year Broncos 66-96 and guests.

Please join us if you can!

How difficult are the trails out there?

They range from mild to wild. More details here, also check out the forums, there are many trip report pictures - check out some of the Green Trails reports, those are the easy ones. Many trails are readily passable with a stock 4x4, they run monthly Offroad 101 classes for anyone with a 4x4.

Can I help twist your arm into making it out there? I've been reading up on the NV3550 swap and convincing the wife we need to make it happen. Would love to get the chance to check one out in person.

Av8rds - you can ride with me. Here is how it sits now, I probably won't have the top back on by then, and if you look closely you can see the heater box still hasn't been reinstalled. I do have an extra pair of gloves I'll loan you though :)

It can be cold or it could be like two years ago and we were standing around in light jackets and sweat shirts. Trails can be easy but if there is snow even the easy trails can have there chalenging sections.
Chris I will try to pencil it in I will just be coming back from a long bussiness trip so it will take some convincing to get my wife to let me go!

The year we went, we had planned to stay on up there over night....a little after dark it was about 18 DegF with a stiff wind. Turned on the weather radio and heard a winter storm warning with 8 to 12 inches of snow. Decided to pack up and get off the mountain and went to raise the electric tongue jack and found it was frozen and would not budge!!! stuck the manual wrench in it and snapped it off. Wound up having to take it apart and then raced the storm down the Shenandoa Valley!!! Good times!!! Hopefully can do it again this year! And yes Chris, got lockers front and rear now!!

No wheeling for us until June, doctors orders. But RC is a great place to wheel so if you've never been there plan on going to the Snow Run.

Bill - you're darn tough to be out there yesterday, highs around here were in the 20's! Brrr...too cold for me. I'm looking forward to wheeling there in August.

I'm in and will be looking for a passenger seat! The bronco isn't exactly trail ready.

Looking forward to meeting some folks and checking out a few rigs.
