Hey I don't mind stepping up my game a bit! LOL

We still need to see the capabitiy of everyone who shows up. I think all the EB's are good to go, just not sure of some of the FSB's that say they will be showing up. Are there areas on the new property where there are good trails but with easy bypasses?

yes, we all can run the new property.

OK, everyone will need to pay the $10 for NE property access. If things get too tough I can always take a group back to the East or West property in the afternoon. Got one guy coming from FSB who actually wheels at Rausch a lot and has a capable rig but who really does not want any body damage. It's a really nice rig/daily driver.

Bill, I can see the tears in your eyes as I write this! lol %)

Weather sounds good! But wish there would be some snow to play on! LOL

Looks like most of the FSB's that were looking for easy trails have backed out also. We'll have to see who shows up, but looks like we can up our game a bit!

Chris, what rig are you bringing?

Just got home! Good day! Weather was great the whole day - started getting colder and some rain about 3:30. So loading up was in the rain just as the rain/snow mix rolled in. Most of the day was clear and sunny in the high 40's. But there was actually some snow on the ground in a few areas!

Most of the rigs that showwed up were prettty capable so we hit the NE (new) property in the morning. Mostly some easy stuff at first but some of us went on a short red loop while the rest watched. We then did some blues. One Bronco had some fuel problems and ended up being strapped back the parking lot. 2 down! After that we headed over to the West property and had lunch.

After lunch we split into 2 groups. mtfit led the harder group and I took the easier group. He took the 2 FSB's that showed up - both very capable rigs - but one broke his steering box. Another out for the day! He had to go to a JY to get another one and replace it where it broke. Only way to get him out!

My group did pretty well with only breaking one drive shaft u-joint. He had a spare so was able to fix it in about 20 minutes or so. We did some nice blues with lots of mud holes! Overall a very fun day. Here are some pics I took. A buddy riding with me took a bunch more and I'll post them when he sends them to me.

This was posted on FSB - the "rest of the story . . ."

pa93litghtning: The only pictures I took are of the Fronco when I was putting my tire back on the bead. I was on the way back to nineveh's bronco with the new steering box and rolled the Right front off about 40 feet from his bronco.

nineveh: I have a few photos and a low quality video. I have to thank pa93 and his friend Rich for helping me out. The sector shaft sheared off the steering box, leaving me with no steering. pa93 drove us to the junkyard & we pulled the steering box out right before the yard closed. Then, the guys at the Rausch office managed to get the rusted on pitman arm off, and we swapped in the box and were off the lot by 630 PM.

Looks great. Wish I had gone.

I love the looks of Bill's new rig. Looking forward to trying to follow him now. It was tough enough before.

When's the next trip???
