Hello I’m looking to get a set of methods in 17s. They make 2 backspacings one is 4.60 backspacing with -12offset. The other is 4.75 backspacing with 0 offset I wanted to know what one would be the best fit for my bronco.
Thank you for the help.

I put a set on my 1972 I believe the backspacing was 4.75 with 0 offset. They rubbed slightly at full lock. I ended up putting a set of Duffs T-Rex arms on problem solved. I have a 2 1/2 inch SL with cut fenders and everything clears fine so far

What year steering knuckles do you have? I believe 76' and 77' knuckles are set further out. Larger backspacing may rub on the 76/77 knuckles at the tie rods.

It’s a 17x9

35’s or 37” tires will rub in the back, on the side of the fender wells. When you really flex it. If you run a lot of lift, or stick to mild trails, you may be ok. Most use wheel spacers when running that much back space.

I’m running 16x8.5’s zero offset with 1” spacers and they rub at full lock and on the fenders at full stuff FYI.

Mine is a somewhat similar setup.
0 offset on 17x9 Methods. I run 76 F150 knuckles, T-Rex arms, 3-1/2" suspension, 2" body, 35's, and some trimming under the front fenders.

No rubbing, ever. (but I don't wheel mine either).
