What have you gotten yourself into there Chris???

I just finished putting POR-15 on the underside of my Volvo bed. Tomorrow night I need to get the bed back on the Volvo and Saturday spray the Raptor. My hope is to have the Bronco on the bed and tow the camper behind it.
I have to start on the Bronco Sunday. My list is a bunch of small stuff but I have a waterborne class for 3 days next week in Pa. Time is running out :(

Time is running out :(

Started out a full hydro steering project that floundered and is now on the shelf, found bad ball joints and brake line that needed to be be replaced.

Just have to put it all back together.

Does anyone in the Philly area need a hand wrenching on their Bronco next Tuesday or Wednesday evening? I'll be available late afternoon and evening since I'll be at a class next week.

Where at in Philly? We could grab dinner at least one night, I'm just outside Philly.

My list is getting smaller! Got the ZF bolted in and fabricated a new tunnel cover to hide the holes from two previous transmissions. Need to install a CB & a bunch of small stuff after that. Reserved a campsite today & they couldn't give me a price? Event weekend or something, do we get a better group rate??

I talked to the Cove folks today and they said you must have gotten a new person. Rates are the same as before and listed on their website.

www.covecampground.com

Each Adult- $15.00

Each Child (Ages 2-11)- $7.00

Ok, good to know. Thought it was strange she couldn't give me a total & she even asked someone with her! Lol.

With less than 2 weeks to go my Bronco is in good shape, so I did a bit of tow rig and trailer maintenance.

Put all new tires on the trailer and adjusted brakes, checked lights, etc. just need to pick up and install a new wheel stud and it will be good to ride.

Went through the tow rig, checked fluids, and gave it a good once over. Spare tire only had 15lbs. of air so I was glad I checked that.

Just a few more minor things to do to the Bronco and I'm ready to roll.

What else do you have left to do??

I got allot done on the trail rig over the weekend.
I figured an old cage I had in my barn was better than the stock hard top so I cleaned it up and installed it.
I also added a hand throttle to help me on the hills with the manual trans. I borrowed the winch from my blue one and installed it on the ugly one for the weekend.

So my wife asked me if I was going to paint my trail rig. I said why it’s just going to get messed up. She said it looks like an ugly skunk. I guess that’s how nick names are born.

My kids said they will not ride in it with me so I may have an open seat.

Made some headway. Only worked worked 9hrs. Just a little welding on the rear yet to do, then pull chunk and clean. Tightened Right front wheel bearings and changed out the spring cup. Found my WARN lockout was broke. Still need to do the left front corner. Need to change oil, grease and If I have time make a new battery tray for the AGM's. Oh and pack.
