Got the tunnel cover and shift boots all completed. Made a new shift handle for the ZF. Finished bolting up the ZF and tried to install driveshafts. Made the front 1" too short - uggg & decided the rear could use a new u-joint. Still need to mount cb & antenna, install compressor and wire / plumb the ARB's. Also need to swap to the soft top & install rear shocks.

I got allot done on the trail rig over the weekend.
I figured an old cage I had in my barn was better than the stock hard top so I cleaned it up and installed it.
I also added a hand throttle to help me on the hills with the manual trans. I borrowed the winch from my blue one and installed it on the ugly one for the weekend.

So my wife asked me if I was going to paint my trail rig. I said why it’s just going to get messed up. She said it looks like an ugly skunk. I guess that’s how nick names are born.

My kids said they will not ride in it with me so I may have an open seat.

Wow, John, looks better than alot of trail rigs. Remember what mine looked like for so long?

Bronco needs a new wheel cylinder, thats supposed to get done this week, need to check fluids, etc and load tools. The bronco will be driven to Gore and the new car trailer will have to stay behind since I have to tow the PRIZE TRAILER!! Maybe I should leave that behind....lots of good stuff for the raffle in that trailer that could work on my EBs. Nah, too many of you know where I live ;D

Sounds great Judy. From the list of sponsors and goodies you have posted, you have done an outstanding job "rounding" these up. I know from first hand experience, how much of a challenge it is to get top shelf prizes these days. Hopefully, folks will appreciate all the work when they see the goods at the roundup :)

What time are you leaving Sean? I'm leaving early Tues morning but stopping overnight at a friends house in PA.

I'm not sure exactly yet. I'd like to be to Calli's house in Western MA before rush hour, we are then heading south to 84 from there. Probably end up at Waterbury CT in the 10am range..very roughly. I'll hook up if we can, I'll probably be traveling slower than you though! ;)

Mine EB is ready and roaring to go!

Logged a couple hundred miles over the past 2 weeks making sure nothing is going to break on me at the last minute. Got a car show this weekend and that's the last time it will be dirt/mud free until after Roundup!

I still have a few things to do before we leave on Tuesday. I wheeled last weekend at the LEBC Fathers Day event in OK and the Bronco worked pretty well. My grandson will be with us so I need to reinstall the back seat and seat belts so I can take him for a ride! Plus I want to try to knock out a nasty dent in the front passenger fender that I got in OK. If I have time I want to change out the master cylinder. The brakes are working fine, the mc is just leaking a bit.

Here's the body damage I got at the Fathers Day run. Maybe Bronco Design will have some front fenders I can win at the raffle . . . ;D

I'll be there Wednesday around noon or so with the Volvo, and big red (mom's U14 inside along with event food and club gear for the weekend).

My dad may haul the Balloon Chaser down on a open trailer on Thursday. The 66 Roadster is stuck at home this year and my trail rig and street rig are not a bit closer to being usable this year than last.:-[

John, looks great. Looking forward to seeing it. I might take the extra seat. See you down there.
