I doubled them up (#7) and there is no more slop. Kind of odd that the passanger side needed it and the drivers side didn't. I will also note the axel seemed to have more play in and out then the drivers side?

I have been thinking about this Beau and it would probably be a good idea to just throw a set of Warn premium hubs on that bad boy just to be on the safe side. I think there may be an issue with that loose hub and its better safe than sorry.;D

My old Warn hubs were like that. I replaced them with Warn premium hubs and had the same issue. They were so loose I could hear them clicking at slower speeds. I double the clips and have been trouble free for over a year.

lol....I agree!

The joke is that that loose hub only lasted about 2 hill climbs before it shredded! here is hank replacing it in the trail.

When replacing it, the warn hub fit much better with out the slop and need for extra retaing snap rings. They also seemed much more robust then the mile marker hub

Nice! A forced-field-fix, and an experienced helper to boot! Not a bad day I'd say.

Where'd you guys go play?

I would guess either #13 spring is missing or broken, which would not push the cluster out aganst the large outer snap ring. I've seen some poor installations where the spring was omitted, or the inner cap and spring were ate up by the hub and bearings.
