The new Bronco arrived today!! Lunar Green all stock original Luber. Pics soon!. Anyways, right off delivery she won't start, the solenoid clicks but starter does turn over, like its stuck. Does someone know where I can get a mini starter for it? 1968 Stock inline 6 170 ci - 3 on tree manual.

Is your battery good, clicking and. O turn over assume could be bad of low charge battery or cables
also you can tap the starter with a hammer to help it out
remember it s 54 years old

A good ground to the body but a bad ground to the engine will let the solenoid click but the starter won't spin.
Quick search shows no mini starters.

CRAZY BUT SINCE HE MENTION GROUNDS .. I USED TO RUN AN EYELET Battery cable from one of the hold down bolts on my starter. & Back to the Motor ground from the Negative side of the battery. .That old 1980 Bronco would just not start If I didn't add extra ground cables . SO NO4 Eyelet cablets . & Then I even added some No 10 wire with Eyelet from the Hood to the body & fenders to the chassis .. My Head Light & RADIO .. TRAILER LIGHTS .. Good Grounds just can't Be beat..
