I have a friend that has a good 5.0 efi motor and auto tranny with transfer case out of a 89 ford pickup. Would this go into a 74 Bronco with a 302 and auto tranny without too much hassle? Thanks! He also has the complete wire harness as well.

The truck EFI manifold is too tall to fit under the hood of an early Bronco.

Some of the automatic transmissions used in Ford trucks are too long to work well in an early Bronco, so it depends on which model of transmission it is.

The transfer case is too wide to fit between the frame rails of an early Bronco.

If you replace all of those parts the rest will fit.

Thanks for the quick response. Wow you just ruined my day. Ha! Sounds like more work than I want to deal with. Thanks for the info though.

Just remind yourself how much worse your day would be if you got the truck parts and then found out they wouldn't fit.
