Hey Paul and B2
I noticed after posting that last night, that the center pin goes through the springs and the Degree shim. then the Offroad Design blocks must have their own center pin and a slot for the center pin in the springs. I thought they were like the EZ-Inch I used from DIY4X. My center pin goes all the way through the block and the degree shim bolts to the bottom of the block. the bolt that does this becomes the new center pin so Im guessing Paul is correct in that the way it is in the pic is prolly the only way it will work. The only problem I can see with it like that is with the degree shim where it is the center pin in the spring pack is now not square in the hole in the relocation block. in an extreme scenario that may create a problem

getting ready to move mine back 1" as well. think I will get new spring perches and fix my pinion angle too. one of my spring perch is bent back anyway.

Get those WH/Ruffstuff perches. They are real long. Super good for axle wrap and they have extra holes in them already.

Important.
Our eb's are a unique width.
Perches need to be the width of our leaf packs so we can push the u-bolts up tight to the leaf packs. Too wide of a perch and you can't do that.
While Ruffstuff sells all widths....WH sells only two; big Bronco and early bronco, safest to just get them from WH.

Just make sure you get the 2.25 inch width perches and you're good to go.

Just did this on mine Saturday. Drilled a hole in the spring perch, degree shim plate and UBolt plate. We left 1 leaf out of the3.5" 11 pack and the driveshaft appears to be long enough. No gas tanks in to test drive it yet but the tire has enough clearance from the fender now

Originally had 3 leafs out and adding a long and short leaf raised the back end up 1"

Bought a set of 5/8" thick x 10" long U Bolts (part number UB3) from RuffStuff this morning for $54 delivered. $15 of that is shipping so Dan is having a good sale for Columbus Day. These U Bolts are approx 1.375" longer than my WH Extreme U Bolts so my 1" block shouldn't be a problem anymore.

It might be wise to re-use the old u bolts, but only for mock up. Once everything is where you want it, install the new ones. Has anyone had to extend the driveshaft when the axle is moved back on stock springs? I was thinking about moving back, and raising 1/2" to level mine out.

I think some have, but many don't need to.
Some reasons for changing them though come down to needing a new shaft anyway, or more lift.
Often too, the need for a longer shaft is determined with an incorrect pinion angle, where the steeper angle (usually due to the lift) extends the shaft requirements. Once that is corrected though, some of the need for the longer shaft disappears.

I'm sure others will have their for needing one or not, but I'm certain that the need for one is not universal.
