I bought my 75' Ranger from a guy that started a resto project in the mid 80's. Due to health he could not finish the project, the bronco sat in a shed for the next 20 or so years. It had no rust and a remarkably straight body. It came with all of the original Ford exterior light lens and chrome trim still in the orignial boxes as well as the rubber(which looks like new) and many other original ford parts in their box. Here are some pics of what i have done so far. I am sure i will have so questions as i get further along.

broncoobsession,

my plans are to keep it uncut. It has a 2.5 inch sl and i was putting a 2" body lift with 15 x 8 pro comp wheels with 31 bfg's on it. Will these fit okay? The motor is being redone putting in a mild cam, headers, ect.. I am still debating on putting front disk brakes on. Going to put a family cage with a soft top. I am still on the fence about the gold (lets call it brass!). Just trying to break up the black. Painting the exterior silver/gray. Trying to stay within a budget.....it gets expensive fast!!! Any suggestions?

should see lots of progress soon. should have motor back end of this week as well as brake lines and lots of other stuff that i bought this morning after a weekend of building up the guts to click on the checkout button!!! Still deciding on redoing my drums or putting disk on the front.....i think i am leaning towards staying with drums and seeing how they act, can always switch to disk down the road. Don't know the last time i drove a vehicle with drums all the way around.

Few more pics to add......the body was painted in the mid eighties and never taken out of the garage. I am re-painting it, taking it next week to the body shop.

i like everything...sep for those axle chunks! that "brass" makes the axles look like model parts, like what we(as kids)did to our car/truck models lol

paint the 3rd and the front diff cover to break up all the black on the axles
