Just a few more pics of it tore back down, and the lower taillight housing replaced.

I didn't have time to get pics of all the work while I was doing it because I was so frustrated with how the aftermarket panels were fitting, but after making them all fit I got pics and these are the rocker panels.

More pics of the inner kick panels and the patch work I did on the inner fenders. The 2nd pic shows a spot on the drivers quarter that I am not happy with how it fits, but I'm not done with it yet. My spot welder took a shit while putting on the pass quarter so I,m waiting on parts to fix it and that will give me a chance to get this fitting better.

Here's some shots of the whole thing the way it sits right now. I did also get a chance to get the roof sandblasted. The fenders are just on there for door alignment purpose and the front inner fenders need put in yet along with welding the aprons to the kick panels. I,m happy with the way thing are fitting now, meaning the doors and body lines. Still have alot of work to do before I get out of the welding stage.

Today I got a set of older duff flares delivered, I got them from bowhunter, and I don,t know what to think about how they fit, the pieces that get riveted to the sheet metal don't exactly fit, looks like they are going to take some work before they'll satisfy me, but I like how big they are. They should help fit 37s without to much lift. Thats my Hot wife holding them in place for me, awesome huh!

The flares may look a little big now but when you get the tires on there I bet they look awesome.

This project has become a little more work than I wanted it to be but I"m still trying to stick to my goal, (by this time next year I want to be driving it). Thanks for the praise, it helps knowing someone is waiting to see more progress.

Well my spot welder is toast so I ordered a new one last night and I hope it makes it here before the weekend, I'm going from a Controls Systems porta spot 2002 to a lenco L4000 dual spot.

I'll tell you those welds are beautiful with that spot welder!

Are you able to do all of the spots with it? You have done great on the project, a lot of work!

I started out not using it and I was plug welding, but that makes for alot of grinding so I started using it and now I don't want to do anything without it. It does 2 spot welds at a time, both from the same side of the panel, its sweet and so much faster.

very nice work like the spot welds, did you find out why your panels were not lining up, or did taking everything apart and redoing it just fix the issue.

The original door posts that I put on it were from another bronco and the doors weren't lining up, I think that the drivers door post was twisted from a collision and would have worked but when I welded it on I should have played with it a little more on both sides to get right but I was in a hurry and so after I had it all welded up the doors worked but just weren't right and I figured by the time I get them cut loose again and all the time its going to take that they would have been a mess by then. So I torched both of them back off and started over. I bought a set of graveyard posts and kick panels and when I got them I wasn't to crazy about how they are not made quite like the originals so I sold them for less money and bought kick panels from Toms, and hinge posts from Wild Horses. Those panels weren't a whole lot different than I had just gotten rid of and lost money and they cost more. I figured I would just make them work, and with some modification and re-welding they did. Live and learn!

Well my spot welder didn't make it here for the weekend so I figured its one of those weekends to fill the aluminum can drum with crushed beer cans.
