Yes they are 15x12, and I would like to change them to 10.

I originally wanted to paint this under side yellow, but now all I want to do is get it in the done column! That being said, I believe that I will get someone in here to do me a rhino liner after I have it prepped. What do you guys think?

Cool rotisserie, you are inventive and I like it. I hear you on the eye thing, 30 years ago my buddy got rust in his eye and I got to watch then clean it out. I still cringe when I hear the dentist drill, and always have glasses on. Glad you made out ok.

I would vote for the liner. IMHO it will be more durable than paint ever will. You can get pretty good DIY 2-part kits now as well if you are inclined to shoot it yourself. The SEM stuff in the quart cans worked well for us and it is really easy to apply. The 1 gallon kit even comes with the Schutz gun. Cleanup was as simple as tossing it in the garbage can.

I worry that the diy stuff isn't the same as the stuff you get commercially. Thoughts?

I've seen this stuff first hand and it seemed pretty solid. it felt hard and durable. a friend of mine who has a body shop applied the black to the underside of a fiberglass jeep tub on a build he did. hid the texture of the fiberglass well. he also used the tintable stuff on the interior of the tub to blend in with the gold paint of the jeep. I also believe that that particular applicator gun allows you to vary the texture when you spray it.
and if you go with the clear tintable stuff you can add your yellow base to it to get that underside color you wanted.
