Hi 9 and be done with it. Yes they are pricey but no longer having the worry or aggravation when it breaks will pay for itself in spades. Or possibly drop your trans mount some if you have the room to reduce the driveline angles.
Wow, these pics look eerily similar to my build! It looks like you used the exact same color that I used! I haven't seen too many this shade of green. Good choice!
You are correct. Hi9 is the only real long term fix. Time to save up some nickles and dimes. And likely go ARB, will make it nicer to drive on the street.
Moving stuff to reduce angles is temporary but it would help. Will still be at limits of driveshaft angles.
Guess I could also drop it down a little too. Less lift. Which is cheaper than a fancy new rear center section.
Bronco sits a little higher than I wanted anyway. I'll have do some geometry. Hmmm.... I'm quoting myself replying to myself.
Rear driveshaft is about 31 3/4". Running 27 degrees! (It should be 15ish max for street use). What angle do you run?
Yep, True Hi9. Or a GearWork HP10. Both $$$.
I had the rear shaft rebuilt and had it clearance a little more. Even though I know it's a band-aid fix.
Really like those visors. Were they a new purchase or off of the group buy a few years ago? If new can I please get the part# and would like to see some installed photos.Working on installing a Bluetooth receiver and amp and speakers. Also got some of these Rosen sun visors!
