I got this set of axles from a 1979 either f150 or bronco match set disk brake
also got the DS sheet metal welded in ready for final clean up, sanding, and paint.

Rusty parts challenges even the best Broncoholics! I have used PBlaster after trying many other types, good luck at the build! I am waiting on Brown Clause myself.

Thats not the full width D44 is it?? I could be way off, but I would think you will need to move to coil buckets and shock mounts outward to match the axle...

The rumor is that if you put a full top on it will equal out. And if you wheel it, it will equal out.

I call BS I have wheeled pretty hard in the last 2 years and my bronco still sits high in the rear. And she has over 1500 miles being boomed at the axles on some rough Texas highways. Some day I will remove a lief or two or install a 1" spacer under the lower spring cup.

Mine is the same with the Deaver springs 5.5" front and 4.5" rear. I now have an 8274 and winch plate to put on the front. I'm hoping it will level out with all that added weight!! If not, I may get a 1" block, cuz I like the way these springs ride. 1" would put me at the MAX to fit in my garage.
