I have the Autolite 26 plugs which is recommended for the 76. Also, the NAPA plug wires that were also recommended here. Can I use the NAPA cap & rotor or do I need to special order Motorcraft? Thanks!

Hi, I like the better quality parts from Napa. As long as the new parts fit like the old ones they should work fine. It looks like the better cap from Napa has brass terminals. They also have a brass tip rotor. Thats what I would get. I have been buying distributor caps with brass terminals if I can find it. You should be good unless someone changed to an aftermarket ignition system. Good luck

I use napa for most non vendor parts. At napa now you have to ask for the better one. They started carrying a lower line of Chinese crap to compete with the big chains.
