What about the month? Is the certification label missing from the driver side B-pillar?I don't know what date it was built, I haven't gotten a Marti report yet.

His is Feb same as mine. Mine was built 2/8 I was trying to see what part of the month his was built. I’m guessing more toward the end since he has a 2B windshield. What about the month? Is the certification label missing from the driver side B-pillar?
VIN sequences for Feb build 1972s ranged from 60000-79999. On average taking every day of Feb 1972 into account since it had 29 days in the calendar that year that's an average of about 714 built per day. My VIN is about 3,300 earlier than yours so I believe yours was built 4 to 5 days after mine which would be the 12 or 13 of Feb 1972, around the middle of the month. Would be nice to see a Marti for it to see how accurate this reasoning is.Build sequence number on my VIN is 68382 if that helps narrow down the date any.
If you do the basic email report you should have the info within a days time.I'll try to get one after the first of the year. I wonder how long their lead time is right now...
Another first for me. Logo on rear top side glass in my experience is almost always in the back lower corner regardless of which side it’s on. I haven’t seen any yet with the logo in the front.I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule, unless there’s some aspect of the manufacturing of the glass that dictates which way it goes.
Front and rear light glass can go in either way. It’s probably installed on the assembly line however it was stacked.
That said however, both my 71 and 68 have or had their logo readable from the inside on the front glass in the lower passenger side corner. Same with the back glass.
Left and right wing vents are opposite, meaning one reads from the outside (driver), and the other reads from the inside.
Side hardtop glass is the same way. Logo is in the front lower corner reading from the outside on one side and inside on the other.
The windshield in the 71 has been changed by me, but the original was readable from the inside.

Oops, I did misspeak about one aspect. I forgot that the top on the’68 is from a later model.
I’ll see if I can narrow down the year.
He never confirmed that the logo was printed at the front of the rear side piece of glass.nice to find those little unique items right
Hope your on the mend Paul, and its not serious.Sorry, been a little out of commission for a few days. Able to join conversations, but not able to do anything about it physically from bed.
I’ll confirm both the original 71 hardtop and the replacement hardtop on the 68 as soon as I am able to.
"But I don't want to go on the cart"..... lol, glad you're on the mend. Thanks! Appreciate it.
Definitely on the mend but it’s been a very strange and convoluted road.
Strangely under the weather for awhile, but nothing to write home about. Not even a fever.
Got better (as Monty Python would say) and then at the end of my best day yet came down with a super fast ramp up to an absolutely nasty case of the flu.
At least that’s what I think it must’ve been because I tested negative through the whole episode. Big fever and all.
Go figure…
Hmm, maybe it was the thought of getting together with family on Christmas Eve? Nah, I had really been looking forward to that.
Must’ve been that Chile Rellenos burrito that I had just before.
