Need Explorer Disk Brake conversion info.

Hey guys,

Looking for info or tech articles on the Explorer Disk Brake conversion for the rear axle, a friend is interested in it and I run the Chevy-Jeep conversion so I'm not up on how it's done.

Thanks for any help.

Wheel pattern is different (5x4½ instead of 5x5½)
The backing plate has a different bolt patten as well if I remember my research right from a few years ago. Probably several other things as well.
Adaptable, but not a quick easy bolt on

The Explorer brakes require the Torino housing ends to work. Only some of the 74-75 EBs had those housing ends stock. Otherwise, you have to put new ends on your existing housing, or do what I just did last week-order a new housing with the ends on it.
