I never liked the grill in pic #1 on a full size truck. On a Bronco, it's way out of proportion. Besides, it's a Brocno!

not to beat a dead horse, but I did read an article that might add fuel to the rumors of the Bronco making a comeback. http://corporate.ford.com/news-cent...ail/pr-utility-vehicles-driving-ford-to-38096 well at least its from a pretty reliable place when it comes to ford news.

Did I miss the part in the article that mentioned Bronco I read Escape and from that if they did bring back the Bronco it would be Escape based. The Escape is not bad I owned one but would never want one re-badged as Bronco I'd rather see the Troller make it in production here than that. Just my two cents.

This rumor has now become popular / mainstream myth.

I was at ATT store and a young lady was admiring mine (Bronco, that is) and she asked if I was going to buy a new one when it comes out next year.

Heh, I get asked this by folks looking at my Bronco... You going to buy a new one when they come out. I'm like sure, when they come out, I'll buy 3. Then explain the hoax, especially after the " I saw a picture on the interweb" comment that is usually part of the discussion.

We are never going to see another 2-door SUV from Ford (mid-size or otherwise). Toyota tried it with the FJ Cruiser and although it sold well, not well enough to keep it going with the new CAFE emissions standards that are going into effect. To be honest, I am good with that. I like the idea that if you want a Bronco, you have to find one that's survived. Plus, because of emissions and safety standards, what flies in Brazil, Mexico, etc. won't work in the states, which kills me because Land Rover is selling new Defenders south of the border but they are persona non-grata if you try to bring them over--even if you try to claim that they are a "farm vehicle." Believe it or not, that almost worked.

FFS - stop with these posts. It looks like we may get a ranger before the Bronco, but I'm game for that too!
