Ford is starting to ramp up the main Ford web site I use at work for Ford employees only now has a section for the Bronco no info on the new one yet just some history of prior models. They are using the classic picture of a 66' on the page.

I think this all sounds very promising. I have high hopes that Ford will come through with a capable Bronco even with IFS.

I'm sure it will be OK for most, but they could have just as easily gone with something a little more premier for clearance.

Won't fix articulation, but it at least would have been more unique than the same old that seems to be appearing in the spy shots.

Agree Jim. I'm pretty sure the aftermarket will come through for the Bronco. Upgraded IFS and SAS kits. If Ford has a decent IFS system stock, as you say, it will be good for most people. Lots of Jeepers buy the Sport and not the Rubicon so that they can swap in 60's on a new Jeep. Saw bunch of them on the Rubicon this summer. I'm hoping Ford Performance will come out with an upgraded Raptor version with an enhanced IFS system or a Rock Crawler version with a solid front axle. Maybe a couple years down the line. We'll see.

Not seeing where this bronco will be a better buy than a wrangler, ford ifs is no bueno with larger, aggressive tires. Hopefully im wrong, but you realize they are not going to come out and say thier front end is junk. They are talking the talk, we'll see if they can walk.

Problem is, I'm getting old quick  My best bet is buying a wrecked one and gutting it I guess. But then will be it street legal in NJ (emission wise), probably not (for that matter, after a motor swap, will it play well with active "everything else").

Hopefully it sells like crazy and makes Ford lots of money, so there are plenty to choose from when I go looking used. 6 years til retirement, guess I'll have more time then at least

March reveal is what Ford told retailers Sunday. Expect to sell 200k units in 2021. Baby Bronco reveal will be in April. It's coming boys and girls.

Sport is the little Bronco, not the one we're all waiting for. If Ford does reveal the Bronco in March, chances are good we may see it at SC.

The Bronco Sport is the Baby Bronco, not the Bronco we're all waiting for. However there is a good chance the real Bronco will be there if Ford does reveal it in March.

And it's the Bronco Sport, not Maverick as an earlier rumor had indicated.

Ford is slippery. They've already released several completely different photos to confound us.
Remember the Expedition? That was to be Ford's four door Bronco. That all changed with OJ.

It was a four door bronco
Based on the 150 like the 2 door OJ bronco

I think at one time it was fords most profitable vehicle , they were making like $16k per vehicle

So Flip,
Which rendering is it closest to? Does it look a lot like the Bronco R they had iin the desert? What body lines or cues does it take from the original? Any details you can provide to help us visualize what this thing will look like?

I pulled my post at the request from someone at Ford. Not sure what the particular issue is but everything I posted has already been "leaked" or is available from photos or renderings already out in the ether. That said, I'm clamming up!

Dang it, I seen the post but didn't read it cause I was driving.... No I wonder what I missed. I guess this confirms Ford is watching this thread. Hey Ford do us diehard Bronco fans a favor and reveal this thing here!
