New bronco wave?

I dunno, I’ll wave back at anyone who initiates. Believe it or not mostly CJs and a few old Landrovers wave more than anyone. Quite honestly I’m starting to grimace at the new Bronco owners as much as the new keep owners. Same breed, different vehicles. Obviously there are exceptions, but I’m speaking generally.

I kinda get the same vibe. I'll wave back to anyone that waves. When I'm in the 66, I'll throw a wave, peace sign, shaka, or nod to just about anyone in a cool, old car, including FJs, Land Rovers, and even the old van crowd (VW, Dodge, Econoline, etc). I joke with my wife that driving the Bronco is less about "driving" and more about "operating", so any car I see on the road that looks like it needs to be operated gets a nod.

I've been driving my Bronco a bit more lately and see a lot of new Broncos on the road. It's kinda rare for a new Bronco owner to wave, though, I also don't initiate a wave to new Bronco owners. Other than the name, they're just not the same. Though, I will nod to full-size Bronco owners. Maybe it's just a lineage thing?

Most of the waves, nods, and thumbs-up I get come from old guys -- ha, who am I kidding? -- guys my age and older driving regular cars, on Harley's, some other classic car, or just any Ford truck.

Sign me up for the "new Bronco owner getting tired of other new Bronco owners" club. I think half of them just wanted a better Jeep.

A beautiful blind was coming from opposite direction in her new black two door. New version of mine.

She waived. I waived back. Did I mention she was a beautiful blond?

A blind blonde? That explains the driving now.... Hoo-ah! (Said in my best Al Pacino voice)

Most times that my EB gets noticed in traffic, I get the shaka sign and then the cell phone camera gets pointed at me..

When I'm out on trails offroading, I'll toss a peace sign to everyone. Also in traffic, I'll wave at other Classic 4X4's because I respect
the hard work it took to build them and I feel a connection to them since I built mine too. Alot of the new Bronco owners just bought them
and they're not the same as us. We built ours with blood sweat and tears. I'll still wave at anyome that waves at me to not be an A Hole, but I won't
initiate . I feel more connected with a guy driving a Scout or an old CJ then a new Bronco
