New bronco wave?

I’m simple, if I like their ride I’ll give a wave…this mostly includes classic hot rods or beaters, any vehicle older than 1980. I do think it’s funny when you see these kids posting up and talking about their “build”, ”nice build”, “finished my build” etc. and it consists of dropping their car off to have wheels and rims added, and tinting, or a new plastic grill to change the looks. Paleeez - call me when you‘ve welded A set of brackets to mount your junkyard seats that you traded a used t-case for.

I will typically wave or nod to anyone that waves at me. Just kinda what we do around here, at least out in the country a bit. I will initiate the wave if I see just about any vehicle that I admire, for the most part thats classics. However, if Im in my truck and pass another truck on a two lane country road one of us is initiating a wave or nod.

Are we doing this? Is there a bronco wave? There are quite a few new broncos running around town. Their all waving at me in the old bronco. Is anything official , I mean what are we doing. I dont wave at the jeep people and many of the new bronco people are really just jeep people. I know there are old bronco people driving the new ones, I get that. But they are not hand out the window waving like there is a kitten in the road, kind of people. Perhaps a nod or some kind of acknowledgment is what I would expect. Is there a standard or do I just ignore and drive on?

Waving was kind of fun when the first few new Broncos started trickling out. There was some kindship because you knew it was a custom ordered vehicle and what we went through to get them. I only see an EB driving around a couple times a year.

I woke up this morning to my 21, in my driveway, being ducked for the first time. I was mildly annoyed that they came on my property to do it but in the end it was a harmless gesture. I'm not going to partake in it so I regifted it to the Wrangler at work, it will probably make her day.

I get "ducked" quite often in the J Truck. If it happens in my driveway, there's going to be a problem in my gated community of 1...... just ask the Amazon guy I caught climbing the gate, thought I might get black listed

Wow such a following on this subject bax, it irritating like you said as I don't wave to anyone other than out military, police and school bus driver as they provide us a service, when I'm down in GA, EVERY one waves, I just look the other way at all the trash on the road!
