Pretty cool option if you hate the looks of the 460, 5.8, or 5.0 factory mid 90s efi truck upper intake efi engines, it would work with explorer efi I am pretty sure. But Gary the efiguy would need to confirm.

These guys make a throttle body that has the ford IAB valve and TPS sensor, then you can run a big round air cleaner like carbwd engine.

Then you can just slap it on a efi 5.0 or 5.8 lower .

Look at the change on a 460s engine bay...

Pretty cool. The Victor JR does not always fit under a Bronco hood, but the TB does look a little bit lower than normal. But not by much!
Wonder how tall it is?
I didn't notice in the pics, but who is it from? Is it the "460efiguys" that is showing in the upper line?
You dealt with them before by any chance?

The 460 kit they offer is real convenient, you get to reuse your lower and fuel rail and chunk the elbow.

Any idea what they are running for the ecm?

I wonder as well... I have looked at them for my 351M motor. But after some experiences with Sniper, bunch of folks talking bad about FiTech, If I were to do a conversion, I would want to be able to buy off the shelf parts. Then there is the issue of not passing smog in Kalifornia in a 45 y/o rig because I made "Modifications"

I think it's pretty cool for the guys that just have to have that old school air cleaner look. But you are sort of limited to speed density unless you run a carb hat for your MAF which sort of negates the old air cleaner look. I would rather have the long intake runners in a Bronco application for the lowend torque. It makes sense for a drag car though. I want to say the early Pro-M units used a similar throttlebody with an A9X chip and a GM MAF sensor mounted on top. The non-linear air flow made for some less than desirable MAF readings. I helped someone convert to a slot MAF with a very tall stack and it helped quite a bit. But the air cleaner was also above the hood.

I don't want to speak too much for his product because I'm not 100% certain. But, I'm pretty sure this guy used to live a few miles away from me in the city before we both fled. He was just focused on 460s at that time. I was going to have him make me a set of adapter plates for me to run my L&L headers on my EFI heads but still haven't gotten around to that project. He seemed like a great guy and we talked for quite a while. For the most part he was using the early speed density 460 computers or swapping to A9X stuff. I mentioned that I could set him up with 460 MAF computers or EDIS options but he didn't seem too interested in it.

I forgot about the MAF not being built in for our Explorer stuff, LOL.

I found it while looking at stuff I can buy for a 1997 f250 with the 460. He claims your 0-60 drops 2 seconds with his throttle body and also offers porting of the stock 460 lower that knock another second off 0-60.
