Hi I'm new to the forum and i just purchased a 1975 bronco. It's started giving me some trouble...
i drove it on the highway about 20 miles and when i started it up to come back home it stalled out. It took me forever to get it started and the choke working, but i got it back home ok. I have been driving it everyday since then doesnt stall in or around town, but the highway driving seems to take a toll on it. another thing is I just yesterday it wont shift out of first gear when i have it in drive... i have to drive it around in second because it seems like nothing is tellingl the transmission when to shift. I checked the governer rod that runs right next to the throttle, but it seems inntact (it has some play in it) here are some specs... any help would be GREATLY appreciated:
1975 Bronco
3spd automatic tranny
302 v8
holley 2barrel
eidlebrock intake
thanks for the help...
-Paul- ?:?
