About a year ago we started researching our 1966 Bronco that had been in our barn for 30 years in a state of disrepair. With the very valuable help of the Lone Star Early Bronco Club, we learned our Bronco was very, very early (VIN U15FL732027). We picked a great restoration guy, and the work has been completed. Now, we don't have a clue what the value of our Bronco is. We would appreciate any guidance on value determination.

Don't ever sell it. It is beautiful! But if you do don't take less than $50,000 for sure.

Wow!!! Great looking wagon. I'm one of the several on here who have an affection for any 1966 bronco. I would say never sell it and enjoy it and pass down to next generation. Sure would like to see some before pictures of it.

That is a beauty! No value determination given here ;D

But keep in mind, who did the restoration can add a lot of value, especially with documentation.

Hi, my 66 was with me a long time.. It was the shop truck at the Lincoln Mercury dealership where my father worked. I drove the Bronco when I was 11 years old. When they replaced it with a pickup in 85' it sat around, unloved, and my father told me to go get it out of there. Unfortunately it was a basket case, with a lot of rust and many other problems. You can see the before picture in my garage. I too can never sell it.

You know your Bronco is worth a lot of money. Instead of guessing a realistic value I would find as appraiser in your area who specializes in high end vehicles like muscle cars, like Shelby Mustangs and other rare and valuable cars. They will know how to deal with a car that is more like a piece of art.

Good luck

Welcome! I posted this on another thread but I'll repost it here.

We recently restored our very, very early 1966 to original condition. We thought we would make its existence known. VIN #U15FL732027

Actually you're already a little "famous" on this site - see this thread: Earliest Bronco Known to Exist

You should start another thread detailing your Bronco. Awesome restoration! Hope you can bring it to the LEBC Round Up in April. I'd love to get a good look at it.

Looks like you took my advice on starting a new thread before I gave the advice! LOL

Looks like a great restoration, and depending on how much you have into restoring it (I am assuming quite a bit), then you would probably lose money by selling it.

I made the mistake of selling a very nice, restored 66 Roadster a few years ago. I would not sell your 66 either.
