Just went on a spending spree! From The bronco graveyard: A 77 skid plate for the fuel tank, new front spindles, new knobs to get rid of the nasty pier marks. I found spare hub internals in good condition from a member.

From Summit: I thought I'd dare to be a lil bit different. I went with the 8 psi carter pump and the edelbrock torquer II intake. She likes to play in the mud and keep her foot in it. from my research that seems like a good setup for her truck. I'm not too concerned about hood clearance. I plan to let the breather poke through the hood scoop and also isolate it from under hood temps.

I think A pile-o-parts will motivate her... We plan to yank the motor next weekend.

How cool do I need to be to post pics? I have a boat load to share...

edit *Duff was kind and sent me an install manual* Problem solved. Cool points to Duff!

Been meaning to do that for a while... I signed up for the 3 year package. This site has been an invaluable resource to me. Happy to keep the wheels turning. The first package showed up today. I should see another one tomorrow, & maybe the last one on Monday. I have yet to spill the beans to the lady, We'll call it an EB early X-mas? ;D

Side note: I ordered some parts for my car from Ballistic Fab via the interwebs a couple of weeks ago. They wasted no time charging my card. Checking my order I see a whole lotta nadda... I don't feel I should need to put in a call to ask status however I would like to know something. Grr I'll be calling them soon...

Pics soon...

Edit: The clutch looked great. you can still see the machine marks in the pressure plate and flywheel. I think the best plan is to put the starter and bell housing back on and do a compression check then take a vote on the engine status. (Or the results will be obvious...)

The lady and I are in the reconstruction phase.

Seeing as how it's her truck and I suck at updates. I offered the job to her. I hope she does a better job...

Nothing feels better than putting the truck back together. Seeing instant process and a Bronco re-emerge. Good luck!
