Looks like a decent movie. Why do they have to destroy a Bronco and not some FJ Cruiser or somthing like it.

We don't have anything against the FJ's do we? I used to own one.

They could destroy a j**p!! That always make me smile.

No sheeeeet..

I actually don't mind that it was a Bronco. Any press is good press. This just gets the Bronco out there more, more people will want to buy one, and the price might just go up.
And I still won't want to sell. ;D

Saw that scene on TV last night and cringed. Personally, I think they should only "kill" current model or worthless 80's/90's vintage cars. It wouldn't hurt the plot at all.

That's what I"m saying.. LOL

[Broncobowsher]

Just watched the clip during Treehouse of Horrors XX.
What little I could see, no gas tank and no headliner. Not even sure there was hardware for the hatch.
From what I have seen of movie crusher cars like this, they are just a shiny shell. Anything good is missing from them internally anyway. They always have twins. One being the driver. Runs/drives/closeups. Then the basketcase shell that was pushed through a paintbooth real fast to match the good one.
What hurts is when you see running cars playing derby with each other for the screen. That is when they scrap a dozen cars for a shot. Real running cars, not just shiny shells.

Very true sir...!

Shell or not....another one bites the dust!
