I think Heus has a pretty good idea!
Tito you're in the land of milk and honey.... lots-o-cash people in North Kali - aren't there?
Either way, I'll be following the build up ... :)

Dropped it off at Gil's, thats what Bill recommended to me. Seemed like a good shop. Hoping to hear back soon as to their recommendations.

Most good shops can do a shift improver without using a kit. Gil's is a good shop. Are they doing anything else to it? I may do mine while it's under the knife. I'd like to put in a close ratio gearset.

Keeping it pretty simple. I was taking a look at my 2 motors today trying to decide which to use. Need to clean one up to use, they are both low miles.

Well had a ton of interest in the build to suit but most wanted a lot of changes and I dont have the resources to do what they wanted so I will continue on with my version and probably put it out there 1 more time just before paint.

As it is, its headed to be pearly mango color, more towards orange than yellow. The wife did say if I painted it a color she liked then she wouldnt let me sell it....I swear I'm not banking on that :-X;D

Anyways...progress so far...

C4 transmission is rebuilt and ready
D20 is rebuilt, just needs paint
Motor has been bored 20 over, crank 10,
set of heads put together locally
explorer serp parts are being prepped
explorer efi parts are being prepped
Stainless steel brake lines are run, need to get some hold downs for fuel lines and brake lines.

Here are a couple pics of the motor, heads are bolted up, manifolds are sat on there to look pretty right now. Timing cover is on to check bolt sizes for the exp serp so I can get new pretty ones. I'll paint up the block here as soon as I get the pan on.

Sounds like you're building it right & looks great so far! Any rough idea of your asking price when it's finished? Pierr.

I am figuring about 15-20 depends on a few things and if market improves. We'll see what the market will bare, I really am trying to make some money on this for my time. Thats basically where I was starting with the custom build.

Haha, I wish. I have collected a lot of those parts but this one sure isnt going in that direction. It is really going to be a driver/mild trail rig as is. I do have lots of goodies to build the hardcore rig but I need to get these next 2 projects done before I can get rolling on my 4 door to replace mine. I am sooo ready to start it. 60, 14B, 393efi, zf, badass cage, SUT/SUV modifiable.

Tito, How much do you think you will ask for it when you are done?

Should be between 15 and 20, honestly will depend on what kind of deal I can get on body and paint or if I do it myself. The tough thing with the pre-sale was just the snowball and I dont have the money to cover the upfront costs. I could easily build a badass 40k rib but I'd have a lot of money sitting on my credit card which I really dont want to do so i am trying to build this with what I've got to reduce my parts inventory (at least the parts I have here in CA - got a ton in OR still).

It was a 67 wagon nice metallic blue with grey top and flares. Had driprail and grille chrome along with hard to find dash trim. Was a sweet ride. Sold it to the skydive instructor out in Taft.
