Do you know the measurements on your new driveshafts? I just dropped off the original rear one to get shortened. My measurement was 29" on the rear and 26 on the front. That is from the center of each u joint at each end.

I just read you are running the 4RW and 205, did you have ti change the front yoke on the 205? mine is for a 1330 u joint and will have o be change to a 1310 u-joint size one, Tom Woods wants 140 for it.
Removed the axle shaft from the rear end and it is a big bearing medium duty axle. the spline count is 28 and the explorer backing plate fits perfectly.
I am going to buy new bearings and seals. I will have the Currie spacer put in when I press the new bearings in.;D
I am also going to look for a 2 spline locker.;D;D;D;D;D
What is the currie spacer for? I am starting my explorer rear disc swap now.
it basically makes up for the extra space added by the thick disc back plates. the drum backplates are really thin compares to the disc ones. I gotta say the mini shoes for the e-brake are a PITA to deal with!
