I just hope you don't get tetanus, botulism or Legionaires' disease from sitting in it lol.

I had to take a very long very hot shower once I got home before I felt clean again! Not to mention the colony of ants that fell out of the headliner while on the road.

Did you pay for those ants or were they free?

If he gets brave and decides to dig through the trash and cigarette butts, he may find treasures of some kind in there who knows!! Seriously though, it was the most disgusting interior of any vehicle I've ever seen. It was a giant ash tray, spittoon and trash can. The rear compartment wasn't bad, 2nd row was pretty bad, driver/passenger area was so bad. Sun roof worked though ;)

It’s good the sun roof worked so I had something to put my door closing ratchet strap through.

I would put the inside of the Samurai I bought up against about anything. Rag top ripped and CATS were living in it for a couple years. I had to get my wife to steer it while I pushed it off the trailer.....Bout caused a splitting of assets. She refused to sit in it for 30 seconds. She's a county girl too. One look and she was OUT. She ended up doing it but I still hear about it today....;D It too came from OK. Is there a pattern forming here?

We talking fire ants or just regular ants cause there is a huge difference LOL Think you pay more for the fire ants right?

Oh wow yeah I don’t think I’d have driven it home if it smelled like cat urine! That’s when you just find a good long patch of ground and push it off the trailer hoping for the best.

They were just the regular ole ants. Good thing too or else it would’ve been mich more uncomfortable when they fell out onto my head.

Important thing is the engine. I went out this morning and started it up and revved it a little while daydreaming that it was the Bronco!

Might be better suited for the off topic lounge but it’s going in a Bronco so I’ll roll with it.

Any Explorer guys know what this tube is? It’s coming out of the firewall and dripping a clear (maybe slightly green tinted) fluid onto the passenger side exhaust manifold.

It’s a 2000 explorer. Just want to make sure it’s nothing to be concerned about before swapping it into the Bronco.

Heater core tube?

My first thought too. I would think if the heater core had coolant flowing through it and one of the tubes was off it would be a much bigger mess though.

I remember you saying you thought you smelled coolant at one point and I think I smelled it driving back too.

I smelt it when it was running before you left, nothing on the gravel where it was parked, and nothing on the driveway concrete where it sit the night before though. When I brought it home it didn't have a lot of coolant in it, so I filled it and winter prepped it and was still sitting at the full level when I pulled it around the other day.

Yep it’s still pretty well full now. I guess it’s nothing to worry about considering it’s coming out of the firewall and not the engine.

Yeah bizarre, I don't know my way around the coolant system on that 5.0l very well.

I’m thinking y’all are right. Something with the heater core. Slight leak or something of that nature. Don’t think it will hurt anything either way.

Cool to see this thread evolve! Anyone have any good leads on an Explorer setup in the Utah area, let me know please, I'm in the market.
