Hi everyone, first time post.
I am doing a coyote EB swap with 4x4 6R80 trans from 2015 F150 which will bolt up to the coyote. The coyote engine is from a 2015 mustang
GT with 2wheel drive trans which I have as well but wanted to do the 4x4. The question I have is do I use the torque converter that came with the 4x4 or can I use the torque from the mustang 2x2. I hope this makes sense.

Ditto, Welcome.

I would assume that you would use the TC that came with the Transmission, but that is only a semi-educated guess. I am sure others who have done Coyote exchanges will chime in...

Thank you very much, that’s what I was thinking. The only reason I to try and use the other one is it had about 30k less miles.

Are they visibly different? If hard to tell, a quick parts search might eliminate the dilemma, if it turns out they are the same part number.
I kind of doubt they are, but it might be worth a quick check.

Stall speeds of the tc might be different, but since you have the for the 4x4 I think it might be better, if the stall speeds for the tc are different
