I've got a 72 with a 302 that was running when I parked it this fall. Now it won't start. I didnt have any fuel coming out of the pump so I replaced it but it didn't fix it. Any thoughts on the next step for troubleshooting or what I might have done wrong? Thanks.

Is there a filter prior to the fuel pump and clogged possibly? Fuel leaked out (or was stolen)?

I have more questions than answers.
Take inlet line to pump and put it in a small fuel container.
Then Work your way back. Switch over valve in the right position if you have one, fuel level in tank(s), pick-up tubes in tanks, lines, etc.

edit: you guys type faster than me.

Can be but general no. the filter is after pump. Manually check fuel level.

I've got fuel at the input line, but no fuel is going through the pump. Only one fuel tank straight shot out. Thanks for the quick responses.

Mine wouldn't start after sitting for a few days, unless/until I primed the carburetor,,,, the fuel pump had fuel but wouldn't pump it to carb during cranking and would bleed off, I put a new pump on it and it did the EXACT same thing. A second new pump fixed my issue and has run well with no problems for two years.

May have something blocking inside the tank. Hopefully a new pump fixes the problem.
